Annah Stretton is a designer from New Zealand. She started opening her stores in 1992, and introduced the label Annah Stretton in 2003. Her clothes are a brave mix of styles, combining vintage, almost antique, looks with ethnic fabrics and individual styling. Annah Stretton's clothing is strong and in many ways unique. It is eclectic and edgy and not for the faint hearted, whilst being extremely wearable. Through her work Annah encourages women to be individuals, to have the courage to experiment with fashion and the confidence to stand out in a crowd. Her interest in the styles of many different eras is expressed in a rich combination of fabrics and accessories including, jewels, pearls and luxurious embroideries.
