The Viridianne

The Viridi-anne is the child of, Japan based designer, Tomoaki Okaniwa. Tomoaki was born in 1963 in the Nagano Prefecture and graduated from the Tokyo Zoukei University, Department of Fine arts, majoring in Painting. He moved from using the canvas to expression through garments and established Caterpillar Produit in 1987. In 2001 he established The Viridi-anne collection, motivated by a desire to create clothing for himself. The collections are notable for the use of the highest quality fabrics and impeccable production, which, when mixed with the creative talent of Tomoaki Okaniwa combined to make something very special.
