ALEKSANDR MANAMIS SILK SKIRT COAT

Aleksandr Manamis 'Silk Skirt Coat' with added handmade flowers. In 2 main parts, the upper part is double breasted, long-sleeved in the cotton/metal velvet fabric (specially woven for AM). Worn either with raised round neck or turned collar with notched lapels. The lapels are 3 layers, outer both velvet and with a raw edge cotton fringing. Single button at collar, with inner leather reinforcing. On the left shoulder there are 4 handmade flowers with braided cords at front and rear and with additional woven flowers at front and rear. Fabric tie, half-belt at rear waist. 3 button working cuffs. A further flower on the right sleeve. The lower section is highly gathered in black silk with a cotton lining and vented at the rear, layered and with some flower detail. This is a work of art, quite stunning. All fabrics woven for Aleksandr Manamis, all buttons have leather inner reinforcing.
