Chiahung Su 'Hand-dyed Single-Breasted Coat' in check fabric. Long tulip shaped. Collar with notched lapels can be worn up with supporting buttons. 5 button fastening, but the upper 2 only used if collar is up. Buttons are all old Taiwanese coins converted to buttons. Graceful, cut-away styling. Angled Left chest patch pocket, with finishing trim. 2 angled main pockets with finished trim. Plain, turned cuffs. Long single central vent at the rear. Fully lined in woven, stylised flower Japanese vintage fabric. A stunning coat that matches the pieces using the same fabrics. Fabrics and lining from Japan 1930-1960.
