Overlapping on the left side, with wide box pleats, fabric tie inside. 2 heavy-duty fabric belts with belt loops at the waist with metal buckles. Finished hems. This wonderful garment will fit quite a few sizes, as it tie up inside, using the fabric tie and the belts are fully adjustable, using the metal buckles. The belts are long and hang from the buckles and are an important feature of the garment. Highly recommended. The skirt would fit S/M/L
