BodyMap heavy cotton, short knitted cardigan in black and white from the early 1980s. BodyMap were considered the 'Perhaps the hottest, most visually arresting company in Britain's design renaissance'. BodyMap's 'ideas on body conscious dressing were freely taken up and absorbed into mainstream fashion' and made them leading lights in the reemerging London fashion scene. This is a spectacular knitted, hooded cardigan and was bought from BodyMap's stall on Camden Market for Corniche. 2 column of 2 buttons at the front. Pockets that extend below the the natural hem. Oversized hood in ribbed knit. Deep curving sleeves ending in heavy ribbed cuffs. Stunning black and white designs. A timeless and spectacular example of the wonderful clothing created by BodyMap founders David Holah and Stevie Stewart. No Labels, but Corniche can verify in writing its authenticity.
