Since before the formation of Corniche (1975), we have been creating a wonderful archive collection of clothing from the designers within Corniche and the opportunities that come from being involved at the cutting edge of the designer clothing world. The Archive collection is a testimony to the avant-garde for which Corniche is known and includes important pieces from early collections eg. Issey Miyaki Play Suit from 1973, bought, from behind stage, directly after the first show in Tokyo, Kansia Yamamoto pieces from the early 70s through to early Alexander McQueen, Michiko Koshino, Vivienne Westwood, Comme des Garcons, Yohji Yamamoto, Katharine Hamnett Thierry Mugler and Moschino amongst many others.
We are now slowly adding pieces from this collection to our website and instore under the label "Corniche Archive". Some of the pieces are very rare and important and we sell to fashion lovers, serious collectors and at times to national museums. The Corniche Archive is essential viewing for all lovers of clothing and important designers and we will be adding pieces on a regular basis. Some pieces have been worn a few times, we call these 'pre-loved', most are unworn and have been safely stored since they came into our care. We try our very best to establish the exact date of each piece and give a full description with as much detail as possible, including garment identification numbers, when available. We are currently researching the selling prices on these pieces and as such if you are interested we can provide a price on application (POA).
