JEAN PAUL GAULTIER BROCADESUIT WITH GRECIAN BORDER DETAIL

Jean Paul Gaultier (Junior Gaultier) skirt suit in off-white brocade, with blue and black Grecian border designs woven into the fabric. Collar with notched lapels. Shoulder pads loosely sewn into each shoulder. 4 copper coloured rivet buttons, with 'Junior Gaultier' embossed. 2 pockets with flaps and copper corner rivets and finishing fabric trim. Plain, turned cuffs. made in Italy tag on neck and 'Junior Gaultier' tag with composition and cleaning details, inside plus the green black, 'Junior Gaultier Made in Italy' label with size attached, on inside left chest. The skirt has a rear zip in off-white colour. This garment has been worn twice, both times in Paris. Once at a Gaultier show and one more we are unsure of. A very wearable garment from the diffusion collection of this very important designer. In excellent condition for being over 30 years old as it has been kept under plastic since returning from Paris. Circa 1989 Spring/Summer. Size 42 (UK10)
