VIVIENNE WESTWOOD BELTED COAT IN WOOL AND MOHAIR

Vivienne Westwood Red Label belted coat in Wool and Mohair from circa 1999 collection. This extremely special piece has various areas with differing levels of mohair, so some parts are extremely furry and others Just a beautiful wool weave. There are 2 buttons at the front of the collar used to fasten the collar across. the main button is black oval with embossed orb in white. The collar is very large and full, creating a great, cross-over look. There is a deep, ribbed, double layered, tie belt. 2 pockets. The cuffs are turned and double layered. All the seams are taped in pink, orb fabric and the sleeves are fully lined in the same fabric. A great piece and a lovely example of Vivienne's work. Made in Italy, this piece has been stored by Corniche since it was produced, only being worn twice at fashion shows in Paris and London.
