VIVIENNE WESTWOOD 2 PIECE SKIRT SUIT

Vivienne Westwood wonderful Anglomania grey check, skirt suit with classic Westwood oversized rounded collar. 3 large, round metal buttons embossed with Vivienne Westwood Anglomania and the orb logo, the buttons gather the front fabric, creating beautiful swerves at the front on the diagonal. 2 rounded and angled pockets. Fitted and shaped. Plain turned cuffs. Fully lined in black fabric with the scimitar logo throughout. There is a double tuck (like a box pleat) on the top of each shoulder, giving a slight prominence to the shoulders. The rear has very elegant curved panels. the skirt is pencil style with a difference. Folded fabric at the front culminating in a large metal button fastening at the waist slightly off-centre to the right. Double layered waistband. Uneven hem with points and slit on right side. This is a brilliant Anglomania suit and a great example of Vivienne's work, with lots of classic Westwood detailing. Size 10UK 42IT. Made in Italy Circa 1990s In perfect condition, unworn, but with external labels.
