YOHJI YAMAMOTO JACKET

Yohji Yamamoto slightly distressed, off-white, short linen jacket. This is from the 2001 Spring/Summer collection. Collar with pointed notched lapels. The front comprises 4 panels, 2 on the left, 2 on the right. The upper panels incorporate the lapels and attach with button fastenings to the 2 lower panels. The lower panels are rounded, cut-away at the hem each with a pocket, with finishing trim, and buttons to attach to the upper panels, there is also a metal popper fastening. There is a small central vent at the rear. The cuffs are plain, turned and stitched. The inside is natural linen colour and the outside has been dye printed to create a off-white distressed effect, with the natural linen colour showing through in places, this is as it should be and cleaning and wearing will increase the effect (As explained on the inner labels). All the buttons have inner small button reinforcement. Made in Japan Garment number: YY-J12-300. All inner labels are intact, but no external labels. Unworn and stored since acquired in the 1990s.
